You would think, that after the mess that was last year’s Celebrity Big Brother, that they’d do away with it this year. But no. There is a slight twist to proceedings – the housemates are young ‘talents’; and the role of celebrities are restricted to that of Big Brother rather than being a housemate. Which could be interesting in itself, because housemates past have always been hijacked by a certain demographic. But still. What this means is that my late night sitcoms and reruns of Ed, will now be held back to make way for visuals of semi-naked nubile beings pretending they don’t snore. No, we are not excited.
